She is Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee of CO2GeoNet, the European Network of Excellence on the Geological Storage of CO2. She is involved, as task or work package leader, in several European projects on CO2 Geological Storage: ECO2 - Sub-seabed carbon storage and the marine environment (WP leader Public Perception Assessment), Sitechar - Characterisation of European CO2 Storage (WP leader Dissemination), RISCS – Research into Impacts and Safety in CO2 Storage (Task leader Integration and Communication), CGS Europe - Pan-European coordination action on CO2 Geological Storage (Task leader Interaction with Media). The focus of her work are psychosocial processes involved in the comprehension of new information and technology, and in the related choice and decision-making processes in our society. Working in a multidisciplinary team with natural science researchers she has developed an in-depth knowledge and understanding of both technical and communication aspects of CO2 Storage.
