He holds a Dr.Scient in reservoir physics from University of Bergen, Norway in 1999. He has worked on several projects within CO2 EOR and geological storage of CO2, building competence on various aspects of CO2 capture and storage. He has been sub-project leader for the storage part of the EU-project CASTOR on CO2 capture and storage, and is Task-leader for geological storage in the Norwegian BIG CO2 project.
