Bioforsk - Rasse Daniel

Dr Rasse is a specialist of C cycling in terrestrial ecosystems. He has contributed to the world’s longest experiment on in situ elevated CO₂, in Maryland, USA. This work was both experimental and modelling. Dr Rasse has developed the ASPECTS model, which has been specifically adapted and tested on long-term elevated CO₂ experiments. Dr Rasse has published more than 30 papers in peer reviewed international journals, and is the Norwegian contact point for the Integrated Carbon Observation Network, a large EU infrastructure.
