CO2GeoNet - Durand Dominique

 He is Research Manager at the Norwegian Institute for Water Research - NIVA, leading the Dept. for oceanography, remote sensing and marine modelling. He has been coordinated NIVA’s activities on CCS since 2005. He graduated in oceanography and obtained a PhD in ocean sciences and remote sensing He has ten years experience in the field of coastal oceanography,; fifteen years experience in marine satellite remote sensing; fifteen-year experience in international research project management. Since 2007 he sits in the steering group of the NoE-CO₂GeoNet and is member of the executive committee of the CO₂GeoNet Association. He is a member of the North-west shelf Operational Oceanography System (NOOS) and of several ICES working groups.
