CO2GeoNet - Kloppmann Wolframm

 PhD in isotope geochemistry, joined BRGM in 1996. Working in the field of environmental problems related to groundwater quality and water reuse. His specialties include chemistry and isotopes of deep natural fluids, water-rock interactions in crystalline and sedimentary aquifers, denitrification in the environment, paleohydrology and paleoclimate. Most of his research work involved groundwater chemistry and the isotopic investigation of water resources. Coordinator of the BRGM framework project on unconventional water resources and alternative concepts of water management. He participates in numerous EU projects under the 6th Framework Programme and coordinated the FP5 project BOREMED “Boron contamination of water Resources in the Mediterranean region: Distribution, sources, social impact and remediation” 2001-2004 (project EVK1-2000-00517). He is author/co-author of over 30 peer-reviewed papers.
